Love it or hate it, sport brings people together and nothing does it quite like football (or soccer, for our American readers). Dubrovnik Sun Gardens, located in Orasac, just north of the City of Dubrovnik, has decided to become the backdrop of the unique hotel experience for kids who want to get to know the value of football firsthand and perfect their sporting skills.
As DuList reported on the 9th of June, 2017, the Football Academy for Children signed with Ognjen Vukojevic will be held at the Sports Center of the Dubrovnik Garden Gardens in four terms, from the 18th of June, 2017 to the 15th of July, 2017. The weekly program of the academy includes a total of 6 training sessions to be held on Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 17:00 to 19:00. On Saturday, the final football match will be held between 10:00 and 12:00, with joint association and the division of diplomas and medals for the successful completion of the football academy.
Academy students will be divided into groups of 5 to 30 children, depending on their age, and will receive a gift complete with Nike sport equipment including a t-shirt, trousers, football socks and a backpack at the beginning of the programme.
The 33 year-old former member of the Croatian football team from Bjelovar, is a player with a successful international career and valuable experience in the Champions League, making him an excellent choice for children who want to learn and improve their skills under the watchful eye and tutership of a top footballer through a fun programme and in a perfectly secure environment, Ognjen Vukojevic will share his knowledge with the budding young footballers who will have the truly unique opportunity to learn and master all the elements of ”the beautiful game” and improve the quality of their play, maybe even opening some potential doors to their athletic futures.
