2018: Greek Carrier Aegean to Boost Athens-Dubrovnik Line

Lauren Simmonds

Good news as the Greek carrier increases its 2018 flights to Dubrovnik.

As DuList reported on the 11th of August, 2017, the Greek Airline Aegean Airlines (A3/AEE), a member of the Global Star Alliance, has announced its 2018 summer flight schedule.

The new schedule will see connections between Dubrovnik and the Greek capital increased to flights on a daily basis, which is three times a week more than this year.

A Bombardier Q400 from the Greek Olympic Air Aira (OA/OAL) fleet will be the aircraft of choice and they will no longer use the Aegean Airbus A320 twice a week as they have done this year. Additionally, this line will start flying twice a week, on Wednesdays and on Saturdays from the first week of the summer flight schedule, which is March the 28th, 2018, two weeks earlier than this year.

An additional line between Split and Athens will also boost this year’s three flights per week to four flights per week as of next year, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. This line will also begin a week earlier than it did in 2017, from May the 13th, 2018, using the same Bombardier Q400 Olympic Aira.
