If It Weren’t for You… Canadian Couple in Love with Winter in Croatia (VIDEO)

Foreigners who fall in love with Croatia – it is not such an unusual thing. But some present their love with more style than others. 

 

A nice email in the TCN inbox, with an even nicer video attached, which I thought I would share:

We are Felicia and Wes, a Canadian travel couple with a love for Split, Croatia. We’ve been travelling around the world for two years and post travel videos on our YouTube channel called Feather and the Wind. Despite visiting 20+ countries, we know we’ll always come back to Croatia and we’re writing to see if Total Croatia News would be interested in featuring our story.

We recently created a video sharing some of our story which we filmed in Split, Ston, Trogir and surrounding areas. After spending the winter months in Split last year, we returned because we always feel inspired by the beautiful nature and welcoming community in this part of the world. The people we’ve met in Croatia have really made a memorable impression on us and our travels.

Even though we’ve never spent time here in the summer, we always look forward to coming back and capturing the beauty of this region through film and photos.

“I really think we met at the right time.
Back then I had all these subscriptions to travel magazines but I was scared.
Scared to start my own blog.
Scared to start travelling.
If it weren’t for you, I’m not sure I would have ever started travelling like this.
And I love that we’re doing it our own way.
Travelling slowly and going to places where most people just don’t go.
But it’s funny because you used to hate flying and I think you still do.
Now somehow we’ve been to so many places together – I don’t see us stopping any time soon.
But I wonder though, if we weren’t travelling would you have even picked up a camera?
Because it’s really inspiring to see how much you love what you do.”
