The natural beauty, cultural and historical heritage, and the richness of the county, located in the heart of Croatia, are the key motifs of the new tourism video for Karlovac County, reports HRTurizam on September 27, 2018.
In the video titled “In the Heart of Croatia”, Karlovac County aims to attract new tourists and hopes to popularize the Karlovac area as one of the inevitable destinations in Croatia. Featuring the historic ambiance of the Old Town of Dubrava, Karlovac County is full of natural beauty and diverse content, allowing every visitor to find ideal activities regardless of the season.

The video was jointly directed by Karlovac County prefect Damir Jelić and Srećko Radeljić, while famous Croatian musician and composer Rajko Dujmić provided the music.
“Success cannot be missed even in a job that deals with emotions. That is why it was wonderful to work with people like Rajko, because he works with emotions and with experiences. This video is not a dedication, it is a true artistic expression. A few short videos will come from it, which will show specific segments – cycling tourism, gastronomy, river rafting, and the ancient fortresses. Only then will the video have its true meaning and fairly expand the voice of Karlovac’s beauties and the diversity of the tourist offer of this area,” said Karlovac County prefect Damir Jelić while presenting the video.
Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli was also at the video premiere and characterized the promotional material as “very professional”, and emphasized that he would show the video at tourist fairs where Croatia will be presented.
“Karlovac is in a strategically important tourist position and can host tourists almost all year round. I was recently in a camp in this county where 90 percent of foreign guests stay on average 3-4 days. So, when we talk about tourism for 365 days a year, we are talking about counties like Karlovac, which they have shown in this tourism video. Karlovac has definitely become a tourist destination, and Karlovac County is a tourist county,” said Minister Gari Cappelli.
