Lonely Planet On Dubrovnik’s Best Sunsets

Lauren Simmonds

Good tips from Lonely Planet for lovers of photography planning on capturing the perfect sunset when in Dubrovnik.

Founded back in 1972, Lonely Planet (formerly Lonely Planet Publications) is the largest and by far one of the most popular travel guide book publishers in the world. With offices dotted all over the globe, including Australia, the United States, China, India and the United Kingdom to name a few, Lonely Planet’s reach goes beyond imagination.

Thanks to an article recently published on the site, photography buffs can now fast track their missions to find the perfect spot in Dubrovnik to snap that incredible sunset shot. The article which lists the absolute best locations when it comes to Dubrovnik’s gorgeous sunsets, includes much loved places like Mt Srdj, the mighty City Walls in the evening, Sveti Jakov beach and much less known places like the Sivi Soko viewpoint, which allows for truly unique 360 views across the entire region.

Although Zadar has long since been proclaimed as the site of the most beautiful sunset, Dubrovnik is worth seeing and may even sway your opinion south.
