Vitality Hotel Punta from the Lošinj Hotels & Villas group has won at the international awards “Wellness Travel Awards” which is hosted by SpaFinder Wellness 365. Prizes were awarded to 41 countries and regions for the best hotel spa resort that offer an exceptional spa experience. Vitality Hotel Punta was chosen as the best in Croatia.
Poslovni.hr reports that the prizes were awarded in three categories: the largest spa experience on six continents, spa experiences in more than 40 countries and regions, and the top 10 hotel spa resorts with the best spa experience in 20 different subcategories. This year, there were 388 finalists, and among them, along with winner Vitality Hotel Punta, was the Hotel Bellevue.
The Wellness Travel Awards are presented by SpaFinder Wellness 365, and are in cooperation with the World Travel Market in London. The award pays tribute to hotel spa resorts that offer exceptional experiences and programs for a growing number of guests who are looking for healthy holidays and trips.
The process of selecting the winner consists of three steps, including the first and the second involving nominations and scores from 39 representatives of the spa and wellness industry that include journalists and relevant experts, followed by voting for the nominees by hotel guests.
“We are proud that two of our hotels were in the finals of the World competition. Hotel Bellevue is already a winner in a series of prestigious awards, and we are especially pleased that they recognized the effort of all employees at Lošinj Hotels & Villas, with Vitality Hotel Punta positioning itself as an unavoidable place of rest for many guests who arrive each year on Lošinj,” said Goran Filipovic, board member of the Jadranka Group.
In addition, the group LH & V boasts many prizes already this year such as the Special Jury Prize in the category of Innovative Spa & Health Resort Destination, the international award at Darc Awards for the project of marine lighting coves at Čikat bay, and the Brand Leader Award in 2016 for outstanding contribution to the tourism market. They have also received a series of local, regional and international professional awards and recognitions that contributed to last year’s successful completion of an important part of the investment cycle in the Lošinj Čikat Bay.
