Ugly Incident Near Zadar: Fishermen Threw Rocks at Swimmer For ‘Chasing Away’ the Fish

Nervous fishermen threw stones at the swimmer for chasing away the fish.

 

The unusual disturbance of public order reported today saw two men throwing rocks at the swimmer for chasing the fish away, reports Zadarski.hr on August 31, 2017.

In Mala Lamjana near Kali [on Ugljan island], a 50-year-old and a 65-year-old man have been fishing while a 62-year-old Austrian citizen has been swimming in front of them. First, they started shouting then they began throwing rocks at the swimmer, fortunately not hitting her.

It is unknown whether the fishermen had more luck catching fish afterwards, but what’s certain is that they both were filed with misdemeanour charges.
