Yacht Which Hosted Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo in Dubrovnik

Not all celebrities in the Pearl of the Adriatic need to be people…

As Dubrovacki Dnevnik reports on the 18th of September, 2017, the stunning vessel ”Christina O”, which was once owned by the richest man in the world, Aristotle Onassis, is casually ”relaxing” today in front of Lokrum.

For more years than are worth even trying to remember, this otherwise rather unassuming looking vessel has attracted worldwide attention owing to the various interesting stories that have taken place on it. Some of the most timeless stars that have ever lived, such as Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Princess Grace and Prince Rainier of Monaco, Egyptian King Faruk, and more, have at one time spent time on board.

The one and only Frank Sinatra once played on this incredible boat, and the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill met with former United States President John Kennedy for the very first time on board. These are just a few of the events that have taken place, and just a handful of the individuals who have been aboard it.

The ship was renovated a few years ago and can now be hired.
