The 8th Sinj Village Fair will take place from August 3-5, 2017 at Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square.
The Sinj Village Fair, which is in its 8th edition this year, gives participants the opportunity to inspect the unique and rich heritage inspired by the spirit of our ancestors. The fair displays an immense wealth of tradition that enhances us today and paves the way for the future.
The fair will exhibit indigenous products, traditions, crafts, and the customs of Croatian villages as another valuable aspect our country contributes to the cultural heritage of the world.
The fair expects between 30 and 40 exhibitors from all over Croatia to showcase their autochthonous products, services and souvenirs.
For this year’s edition, many interesting events are being prepared. The first evening of the fair is worth mentioning and will present the gastronomic and enological offer of the Cetina region with the indispensable specialities of arambaša and uštipak. The Association of Craftsmen in Sinj and the Crafts Chamber of SDŽ will present the food, while the Tourist Board of the Sinj will educate the visitors of quality local wines through two indigenous wine varieties. In the offer, guests will also find real homemade bread under the bell.
You will not want to miss the educational part of the program by Association BIOM and LAG “Cetina Krajina.” The associations will present a joint project for the Dinara and Svilaja areas with the aim of restoring the pastures and encouraging livestock activities supported by the LIFE program (EU Funds). The presentation will go over the planned activities, but audience experiences and suggestions are welcome.
As expected, there will also be a packed entertainment program! This year’s event will feature:

The Sinj Village Fair is held with the support of Sinj, Split-Dalmatia County and MINPO and in cooperation with the Sinj Craftsmen Association, the Sinj Majorettes, the Association for the Preservation of Cetina Heritage, HKUD Peruć, Association Biom Sinj and LAG Cetina Krajina.
