January 15, 2019 – The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for new flights to Croatia, with updates from Split and Zadar.

Flights to Croatia: Air France to Split

French national carrier Air France, a member of the airline alliance SkyTeam, has introduced its first service to Split for the 2019 summer. The new line Split-Paris (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport) will operate three times a week in the heart of the season, reports AvioRadar

The flights between the two cities will take off on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, from July 16 to September 1, 2019. Air France will operate using an Airbus A318 aircraft and the Airbus A319.

Split will be the third destination for the French national carrier in Croatia. Recall, Air France began operating the Dubrovnik-Paris (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport) with two flights a week in the 2018 peak season. This year, the Dubrovnik service will commence operations some three months earlier than last year, or on April 6 with one flight per week – on Saturdays. In the heart of the season, from July 15 to September 1, this service will operate five flights per week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Air France uses the Airbus A320 on the Saturday route, and the Airbus A319 on the remaining days.

Flights to Croatia: Condor boosts Zadar operations

Germain airline Condor has announced their third line to Zadar for the 2019 summer schedule. Namely, Condor began flying to Zadar last year on the Zadar-Frankfurt line, and already introduced the Zadar-Hannover line this year – but a new connection between Zadar and Dusseldorf has just been announced, too, reported AvioRadar

Condor will fly between Zadar and Dusseldorf with two flights a week, Mondays and Fridays, from June 7 to October 25, 2019. The Airbus A320 aircraft will be used for this route from the Spanish fleet Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics.

Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics is a new airline owned by the Thomas Cook tourism group headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
