June 13, 2019 – This year, the Megdan Fest will be held in Čačvina near Trilj on the celebration of Sv. Vid, along with the fifth consecutive year of the festival of men’s traditional music.
The event itself will be held on June 15, beginning at 18:00. This year’s festival is organized by the Association of Čačvina and the Municipal Board of Čačvina, with the Trilj Cultural Society and the Trilj Tourist Board as the co-organizers.
The program begins with a Mass led by Fr. Miro Ančić with the concelebration of the priest of the Trilj deanery, accompanied by the Parish church of Trilj.
At the Megdan Fest, you can enjoy to the traditional singing performances of rera, ganga, treskavica and ojkavica with the gusle and diple instruments, and performers from the entire Dalmatian Zagora.
