Organized by KUD Krenica, the local board of Gala and MNK Gala, a football tournament and folk festival will be hosted this weekend in Gala.
Tomorrow, August 26 at 18h will begin the Memorial football tournament ‘Mate Munivrana’, which will be attended by four teams: Veterans of the 4th Guards Brigade, the 126th Brigade Veterans, Veterans of the HVO ‘Bruno Bušić’ and hosts MNK Gala. Before the start of the tournament, there will be a laying of wreaths at the tomb of the late Croatian defender Mate Munivrana.
The program continues on Saturday, August 27 at 20h when an evening of folklore called ‘Oj Krenico ko te ne bi pio, kraj tebe me dragi zamirio’ will commence. Visitors will be able to enjoy various folk singing styles, sounds of the fiddle and folk dances that will be performed by a number of cultural clubs from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The folklore program will be followed by the advent of music band ‘Dukati’.
The organizers of this year’s festival will prepare a rich cuisine for all visitors.
