The pleasant smell at the cellars of the Tripalo Palace was present from the early afternoon hours, when the 6th Tripicijada of the Carnival Association of Sinj started. Some 280 plates of tripe and some 300 litres of wine were enjoyed.
This year, there was 18 teams – a record for the Tripicijada festival – with teams such as the Picadilly Club, Alka Knight´s Society students, Basketball Club Alkar, Klapa Sinj, Sinj amligani, The Association of Old Crafts, Children´s Alka Marići and other, not to forget the guests from Hvar.
The best tripe were those prepared by the Association Marić Children´s Alka, as they received 39 out of 40 points. The second place went to the team Karapelj (36 points) and the third place took the Carnival Association Glavice with 35 points. Congratulations to all!!
The next on the Sinj Carnival menu will be the Arambašijada (Arambaši cooking festival) on Saturday January 30, 2016. The Tripalo Palace is the place to be.
