The 4th Mosor Film Festival has just been announced!
The Croatian Mountaineering Society “Mosor”, as part of the celebration of World Environment Day and the Day of Mountain Nature Protection in Croatia, has organized the Mosor Film Festival (MosFF), reports Split.com.hr on May 31, 2017.
On Saturday, June 3, 2017, the 4th Mosor Film Festival will be held, dedicated to the promotion of amateur mountaineering films.
At this year’s MosFF, visitors will be able to see nine films with the theme of hiking, mountain climbing, caving and mountain biking from a group of unestablished but extremely talented authors from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Mosor Film Festival takes place in the heart of Dalmatia’s most visited mountain, in Ljuvač just below the mountain hut “Umberto Girometta”. This green oasis is the perfect place to relax the mind and body, even during the hot summer months.
Mosor is situated at an altitude of 850 m and is surrounded by a thick forest of Dalmatian black pine. Across the meadow the Ljuvač brook flows, providing a breath of refreshment to many visitors. Mosor is located around a 45-minute drive from Split.
Admission is free for all.
