KLFM invites all interested parties to directly learn about their activities and plans at a big concert titled “Radio na Cesti”. This Saturday at Dom Mladih, KLFM, the first Croatian radio for the community, organizes the 3rd edition of “Radio na Cesti” (Radio on the Road), a five hour long concert of local music forces, transmitted via live streaming.
The concert opens with Sutra (ST) at 17h, followed by the Marinada (RI), The Basewalks (ZG) and Sleepyheads (ZG). From 22h until dawn, the music will move to Kocka with a clubbing program by radio DJ collective Radio Esplendor with Zagreb DJ Luke DeLuxe.
The first Croatian community radio KLFM describes themselves as a radio that exists because of the community, its interests and affinities, and invites all interested parties to directly learn about their activities and plans. The concert will demonstrate the ease of production and broadcasting of programs that are made possible by new technologies.
Ante Frankić, the main program editor and president of the association through which the radio operates, explains that KLFM was a project to create a community radio whose main purpose is to be a community service, as well as a necessary window to world events and current events. Media KLFM represents the integration of several elements of new media. The radio program is broadcast online as streaming, and all shows are archived in the form of a podcast. In this way, the full text is available in the form of on-demand media. Each of the shows have complementary content on the respective web portal KLMF in blog format. The said media access for each show uses several communication channels to ensure maximum availability of content in accordance with the contemporary new media practice.
