In a time of negative comments and general frustration when it comes to travelling, one woman switches things up and praises Dubrovnik Airport and its kind staff.
As Dubrovački Dnevnik reports on the 2nd of September, 2017, a woman originally from the island of Lopud who has lived in Germany for over 50 years has expressed her praise and enthusiasm to Dubrovnik Airport, primarily because, as she said, of its kind, friendly and helpful staff.
”I’ve lived in Germany for over fifty years, I was born on Lopud and I come here every summer to visit my home. I’ve traveled a lot in my life, but I’ve never met such friendly, kind, and helpful staff” she commented enthusiastically in reference to Dubrovnik Airport (Cilipi).
“Unlike many urban areas where technological achievements are at their peak, Dubrovnik has ”something” that will not leave anyone feeling indifferent. I’m not talking about just natural and cultural beauty, but above all, humanity and the willingness to aid the elderly and the helpless,” she said.
The lady in question has issues with physical mobility, and as she said, in Dubrovnik, airport staff immediately come to her aid each year, waiting for her to leave the aircraft, ready with a wheelchair, and her luggage is unloaded and dispatched with haste, seeing her leave the airport terminal within an impressive 10-15 minutes.
“I’m extremely grateful to all those who have been assisting me throughout all these years here at the Airport in Dubrovnik. There are few places anywhere in the world where such wonderful and friendly staff can be encountered. They are excellent staff, but above all, they are humans!” she concluded.
