The first hotel for health and fitness in Dalmatia is in full swing.
Over the last year, I have watched tall cranes and dirt slopes transform into building layers, which grew floors and windows, until its completion as the brand new Marvie Hotel & Health located in the Zenta area of Split – on the same treet I live.
While the hotel has been open for a few months now, picking up just enough of the last bits of the summer season, the first official media presentation of the hotel is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Because the hotel is officially announcing its existence to the wonderful world of Split then, here is what we know so far and what we can share with you about Dalmatia’s first specialized health and fitness hotel.
Marvie Hotel & Health was erected through an investment by Tramont, realized in cooperation with the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development worth HRK 105 million. This is the first hotel in Dalmatia specializing in the ‘health & fitness’ segment, providing a range of specialized services in the field of medical healthcare.
The hotel is a total of 9400 square meters and boasts three floors of an underground public parking garage. Marvie also has 76 accommodation units, two of which have a beautiful roof terrace with an outdoor pool.
The hotel, as expected, has a restaurant with a speciality gastronomic offer and a spacious wellness area, which includes an indoor swimming pool and top quality holiday and relaxation facilities, including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Dermatological Aesthetic Clinic.
“A creative gastronomic offer based on a modern kitchen of the highest quality Mediterranean foods with a with a large selection of non-gluten-free dishes, young chef Martin Grubiša takes the lead at restaurant Da’Mar. Nutritionists are also available for all guests to help them enjoy delicious delicacies, regardless of their diets,” continued the hotel’s press release. The hotel’s restaurant is even participating in Restaurant Week, beginning today, if you’re interested in giving them a try.
The Marvie Hotel & Health project was realized according to the architectural solution of the Split architectural office “Atelier Šverko and Šverko”, while the visual identity was created by “CARLI + SOSA”.
