FlixBus, the fastest growing European start-up which came to Zagreb in June 2016 (read more about it here), has added new lines from Zagreb, Crikvenica and Split towards Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic, Putoholičari reported on April 6.
“Since we started our business in Croatia last year, our goal has been connecting as many Croatian destinations to as many European destinations as possible. Different cities can be reached in a simple and cheap way, using our comfortable buses, which also enables foreign tourists to reach Croatia more easily.” Petra Milanović, FlixBus CEE South spokeswoman said.
Spring trips from Zagreb, Crikvenica and Split
Starting April 6, FlixBus will offer daily bus lines to Znojmo, Jihlava, Prague, Maribor, Graz, Vienna and Brno. In addition, FlixBus has increased its daily service from Zagreb to Ljubljana and Munich to 5 buses a day.
Daily lines from Split, Trogir, Šibenik, Pirovac and Zadar will take passengers to Ljubljana and Munich, and Trieste, Udine and Munich can be reached by buses from Crikvenica.
Free WiFi, no luggage fees, outlet plugs, more space between the seats and being able to change or cancel your reservation up to 15 minutes before the bus leaves make FlixBus one of the most popular bus choices in 1,000 destinations in over 20 countries.
Opening a FlixBus regional headquarters in Zagreb has completely changed bus travel in Croatia and green buses should connect Croatia to numerous other destinations within the next 2 months.
For example, the prices for a Zagreb-Munich trip on 12 April start at 189 HRK, Zagreb-Vienna at 169 HRK, Zagreb-Prague at 239 HRK. Considering that two of these are +6 hours trips, it’s a steal.
