With an idea that contributes to the rational exploitation of energy resources, the talented team of four from Vern won on the national pitch in Zagreb.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 23rd of January, 2018, Rijeka’s Moreno Pavličić, along with his team, Sento Solutions, is heading for the regional Hult (Hult Prize) competition in Dubai this coming March.
Four students from Zagreb’s Vern are headed to a global student bid, with the ability to win a million US dollars. The team brought a USB stick that has the ability to detect uncontrollable or excessive consumption of electricity, water or gas and connect with some smart device such as a mobile phone, so the user would have a review of the consumption, according to Novi List.
With an incredible idea that contributes to the rational exploitation of energy resources, the team of four from Vern deservedly won the national pitch in Zagreb. Stating that alongside him are Andro Bunić, Jakov Bajić and Petar Fruk, Moreno also states that Sento Solutions’ national victory in Zagreb is the crown of his five years of successful study at Vern, where he was unsurprisingly the best student.
”This is a competition under the organisation of Hult Business School and the Bill Clinton Foundation. Today, students from all over the world participate in this competition. The global importance of challenges for which students are proposing solutions is why this competition is colloquially referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Students”.
From one student’s idealistic thought, today, more than 50,000 students from various prestigious faculties participate in the Hult competition. Every year, Hult has a different theme for the competition, and students have to solve whatever the problem posed to them is with knowledge, innovation, and above all, creativity.
