Croatian juices were presented in the United Arab Emirates.
Croatia’s “Juicy” juices were recently presented in the United Arab Emirates, during one of the largest and most influential food trade exhibition, which brought together around 5,000 exhibitors from around the world and attracted more than 95,000 visitors to the Dubai World Trade Centre, reports tportal.hr on March 1, 2017.
With its line of Juicy 100% juices (orange, apple and pineapple) and with Juicy Nectar Cranberry, the Stanić Beverages company has been present in the markets of the United Arab Emirates since 2015, primarily as part of the HoReCa channel which makes a total of 70 percent of exports to the country. Juicy juices have been included in the offer of some of the most prestigious local and international chains of restaurants and clubs in Dubai, including Cipriani, Blue Marlin Ibiza, The Act, Roberto’s and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
“We are currently present in the market of the United Arab Emirates and we are in the process of registering our products for markets in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Our goal is to conquer the whole MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) and to achieve the medium-term goal for the exports of 10 million litres of juices per year. It is a lucrative market with a very high consumption of juice per capita, and one of the reasons for this is the fact that alcoholic beverages are hardly present in the retail sector”, said Svjetlan Stanić, the CEO of Stanić Beverages Croatia.
This year, Juicy will put the main emphasis on the entry into retail channels (which currently make up about 30 percent of exports to the MENA region), thanks to cooperation with retail chains Geant and Panda, which represent as much as 20 percent of the market of Saudi Arabia. At present, the plan is to launch Juicy 100% orange, apple and pineapple and Juicy Nectar cranberry, orange, apple and pineapple, with the long-term aim of expanding the range depending on customer preferences.
“Juicy premium juices are juices of superior quality, which have been recognized by consumers in the new markets. Quality control is extremely strict and products must pass a number of tests to meet the high standards and regulations. We can proudly say that Juicy juices have met all the necessary requirements”, said Allen Hrković, director of exports.
