Lauren Simmonds

Good news for Lidl!

Konzum is not included in these statistics because it hasn’t submitted a financial report for statistical and other necessities for 2016.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 30th of April, 2018, the largest income of retail trade in non-specialised stores was realised by the popular Lidl Croatia, in the amount of 4.0 billion kuna, and with that income, it participated in the total income of that particular group by 9.9%.

Plodine achieved total revenues in the amount of 3.9 billion kuna in 2016, occupying second place according to the aforementioned criterion. Plodine posted a positive business result of 76.2 million kuna in the observed business year, and employed 3,314 employees with an average monthly net salary of 4,196 kuna.

Despite Konzum not having submitted a financial report for that year, from this data, it can be seen that the giant company’s revenue stood at around 10 billion kuna.

A positive consolidated financial result in the amount of 433.0 million kuna in 2016, an increase of 45.0% when compared to 2015, was received by this field.

Lidl Croatia recorded the best operating result in the year 2016 in the amount of 242.4 million kuna in profit, followed by Tommy, Plodine, Muller Trgovina Zagreb, and Studenac.
