Pay special attention to the temporary traffic regulations in Dubrovnik this weekend.
On Saturday the 16th of September, 2017, the incorrupt body of Saint Leopold Bogdan Mandic will arrive in the Pearl of the Adriatic following a journey from Padova, Italy.
City buses (Libertas) will be free of charge on Sunday the 17th of September until 16:00, but Libertas city bus line 2 (Pile-Gorica) will be out of use as of 17:30 on Saturday until 15:30 on Sunday. To compensate, a temporary bus line will be introduced until 14:00. The route will be: Hotel Petka – Grawe (Lapad) – Hotel Lero – Ivo Vojnovic – Dubrovnik General Hospital – Hotel Lero – Tommy – Hotel Petka).
As far as parking is concerned, you might be pleasantly surprised to find out that there will be no charge and no control of parking in the city on both Saturday and Sunday.
Road closures are worth paying particular attention to, especially on this occasion, the road to Gospino Polje will be closed to traffic completely from 20:00 on Saturday until 14:00 on Sunday.
