All Change at the Croatian Tourist Board: Goodbye Japan, Spain, Switzerland. New Directors for London, Prague and Ljubljana

Total Croatia News

An overhaul of the international network of the Croatian National Tourist Board.

Some major changes to the international network of Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) offices were announced on July 20, 2015, as HTZ director Ratomir Ivicic announced the closure of three major offices, as well as the appointment of three new directors, according to a report in Poslovni.hr.

With a saving of about a million kuna annually, HTZ offices in Japan, Spain and Switzerland will close.

There will also be change in the offices in London, Prague and Ljublana, with each office appointing a new director to start on September 1.

Metka Bradetic will lead the tourism promotion in Slovenia, Jelena Bilic in the Czech Republic, and Ivona Grgan in the UK. Congratulations to all, but a special work of thanks to Jelena Bilic, the current director of the Sinj Tourist Board, who I interviewed for Google News a couple of years ago. Jelena is also one of the founding members and driving forces of our sister site, Total Inland Dalmatia.
