The new president of the board held her first press conference in Split today.
Hajduk presented the new President of the Board, Ms. Marijana Bošnjak at a press conference on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. in the press room at Poljud stadium. Apart from the President Bošnjak, Slaven Marasović, President of the Supervisory Board was present as well as Ante Šalinovic, Supervisory Board member.
“I was surprised by Hajduk’s invitation; it is a great honour and responsibility. My primary task is to work on a project, to analyse Hajduk’s current position, its potentials, and resources that can be used for further development of the club. It is a demanding and extensive job and 45 days in really not much time for it. It is crucial to prepare the proper basis for the club’s future. In the next 45 days, Hajduk is my only and absolute priority” said Bošnjak.
Hajduk is in a transition period, and the Supervisory Board members obviously want to improve the club by developing a written strategy for Hajduk’s future. Ms. Bošnjak’s role in that process is to analyse the current state of the club’s financial and marketing position, so that, according to her findings, the new Board can follow the strategy of the club.
Ms. Bošnjak sent a plea the media to grant her and Hajduk some peace during the process, but as we have followed media announcements about the matter, it is a wish that will never be granted when most journalists writing about Hajduk are considered.
