Daily Telegraph: 10 Things about Dubrovnik (and They’re Good)

Ten perhaps lesser known facts about Kings Landing (sorry, Dubrovnik) by The Daily Telegraph on November 4, 2016. 

Having written about Croatian tourism for more than five years, I am always wary of the international media publishing lists of ‘the ten best things about…’, ’15 things to do before you die in…’ You know the articles I am referring to. 

And so the recent article on Dubrovnik from The Daily Telegraph, while not revealing anything new to me personally, does a good service informing Game of Thrones fans that the UNESCO World Heritage Site which is the Pearl of the Adriatic was indeed built before the filming of its alter ego, King’s Landing. 

Dubrovnik, celebrating its millionth tourist of 2016 yesterday, has a rich and diverse history, with some rather fabulous facts, as The Daily Telegraph disovered in its article.
