If you do an image search on Istria, you’re likely to end up with a bunch of photos showing the most distinguished tourist destinations such as Rovinj and Pula. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s worth noting that Istria is packed with hidden gems that are rarely featured on tourist board websites and in promo videos.
A video created by Mladen Paulinić and titled “Amazing Istria – Aerial 4K” features the often overlooked locations in Istria including Lim Channel, Plomin, Brseč and Bale. As the stunning sights alternate, it’s hard not to wish for a couple of vacation days and take a roadtrip off the beaten track.
