A New Way to Advertise in Split: Trash Bins

For those of you looking to advertise in Split, you may have just been handed a new way to do so.

The city of Split has, in fact, passed an amendment that allows advertising placement on, you guessed it, trash bins.

 

Under this new bill, trash bins will be set as a new way to advertise for your business, party, or really anything worth advertising. Advertisements can be a maximum of 1.0 meter by 0.5 meter dimensions, per page. Trash bin advertisements will only be allowed on newer cans that the city will provide, in select public areas throughout the city of Split.

 

One definite perk for the city of Split? As you may have imagined, no advertisements usually come free. This is now a new way for the city of Split to bring in some extra funds, through a fairly unique way of doing so. This is also done in many other large cities throughout the whole of Europe.

 

In addition, this may actually pretty up some of those trash bin eyesores around the city.
