There are already so many things that make the town of Sinj so wonderful, but today we are sharing yet another to add to your Sinj to-do list.
Why not discover the story behind history and join a free tour of the town of Sinj? Every Thursday at 7 pm, everyone is invited to gather at the Alka Course (at the tourist info point near the statue of the Alka knight) for a free tour of the city!
Organized by the Sinj Tourist Board and the Sinj Town Tour Guides Association – Osinium, each Thursday, guests are encouraged to beat the crowded beaches and enjoy the hospitality of Inland Dalmatia while learning a thing or two you can most definitely take home.
The tour will tell the story of knighthood, chivalry, warfare, and miracles. Participants will be able to meet the proud people of the town, feel the energy of the Sinj streets, and delve into the last 300 years since the townspeople of Sinj drove out the Ottomans, thus giving birth to the Sinjska Alka.
