JazzHR/Autumn Festival Bringing Best Jazz Musicians to Zagreb

ZAGREB, October 8, 2018 – The 28th edition of Jazz.hr/Autumn Festival will take place on 17-21 October in the Kontesa Jazz club in Zagreb while presenting a series of prominent jazz musicians and bands.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday, October 17, with Baseless, a collaboration between Slovene guitarist Samo Salomon and American harmonica player Howard Levy and ends on Sunday, October 21, with a much anticipated blast from the Ambrose Akinmusire Quartet, grouped around American trumpet- and tuba-player extraordinaire Akinmusire.

Coming in-between will be performances by Polish pianist Marcin Wasilewski, Belgian pianist Jef Neve, and American bing-bong vibraphone virtuouso Joe Locke.

The concerts will take place in a popular Zagreb hangout, the Kontesa Club, right off the main square.
