November the 23rd, 2023 – The surpassing of one billion euros for the Podravka market value for the first time this year represents a huge step forward for this well known domestic enterprise.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, it’s only logical to first associate the growth of this company’s stock with the results now being shown off by the Podravka Group, which has been achieving very good results for several years in a row now.
Historically large investments are currently underway within this huge Croatian company, and it’s to be expected that this is also reflected in the price of shares. This Koprivnica-based food giant has been making enormous strides in the right direction, and the Podravka market value now exceeds one billion euros. As such, it of course deserved to be shortlisted for the Economic Event of 2023, under the the organisation of Poslovni dnevnik and Večernji list.
Last Tuesday, Podravka’s stock closed the day with a market price of 148.50 euros (around 1118.87 kuna). At one point, it reached 149.50 euros, which is the highest price it’s been so far. The traded value of Podravka shares stood at 342 thousand euros. Since the beginning of the year, Podravka shares have grown by almost 80%, which increased the value of the company by around 462 million euros (3.5 billion kuna). That means today, it is worth around 1.06 billion euros in total.
The current rumour doing the rounds of both business and brokerage circles that there are big investments pushing Podravka and as such the overall (and very impressive) Podravka market value forward. Every now and then, it’s alleged that some well-known entrepreneurs are pumping money into Podravka’s shares, and in that regard, things are especially interesting for Pivac, which has now passed holding a 5% stake.
It’s worth noting that it isn’t only the Podravka market value which is impressing business and investment circles, not to mention the wider public. This large Croatian company was recently awarded for its environmentally-conscious, sustainable approach to doing business. The aforementioned represents very meaningful recognition as the green and digital transition are ever-present topics across the board in the EU as a whole.
