Instead of buying a blender, maybe you could get your friends a personalized FigurRama
FigurRama by Maja Kušan is a framed figurine with a descriptive background. The concept depends on the occasion and on customer’s wishes, reports Journal.hr on March 14, 2016.
FigurRama, a unique gift, has been on the market since the end of 2015. The author of these interesting and cute gifts, Maja Kušan, an architect by profession, said that the idea came to her after she was invited to the wedding of her close friends. “When two people are starting their life together, they are always being given a similar assortment of items.” She wanted to do something different.
After she started making these kinds of gifts for the people close to her, Maja soon began receiving first orders and inquiries for these original, handmade gifts.
She decided to instil a dose of originality into the gifts. Her FigurRamas are the original and often humorous, materialized memories consisting of figurines with the accompanying accessories, a descriptive background, and a simple black or white frame. The fourth element ties together the previous three and reflects the individuality of the person it is being made for. What is special about FigurRama is that the person who receives it actually gets a bit of what makes her or him special and different.
Maja has originally imagined a few FigurRama lines – one is related to a particular event in the life of the person for whom it is made, such as the wedding, graduation, engagement, etc. The second line is based on characters related to the person for whom FigurRama is being made and it describes everyday situations such as cooking, travelling, favourite food, favourite sport, and similar activities or professions. The third line of products are FigurRamas based on famous characters or superheroes from the popular culture and comic books. Think Star Wars, Harry Potter and such.
